What we collect
Identity data · contact and account data (passwords are stored hashed) · transaction and payment data · KYC/AML verification data · gameplay data · device and access data including IP address · support communications · responsible gaming data.
Why
To operate your account and provide the service; to meet legal, regulatory and licence obligations including identity and age verification, AML and sanctions screening and record-keeping; for our legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention and enforcing the Terms; and with your consent where required, such as for marketing.
Providing identity, contact and payment data is necessary — without it we cannot open or maintain an account.
Who we share it with
Only as needed, under contracts requiring recipients to protect it: our cryptocurrency payment service provider, card and local payment processors, fiat-to-crypto gateway partners, platform and game providers, our sportsbook provider, verification vendors, professional advisers and auditors, and authorities where required by law or our licence.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising. The current list of our payment service providers is available on request from privacy@buunix.com.
How long we keep it
- Identity, verification and transaction records: at least 5 years after the end of the customer relationship or the relevant transaction, as AML rules require
- Self-exclusion records: as long as needed to enforce the exclusion
- Support and dispute records: as long as needed to handle complaints
When retention periods end, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of data we are not required to keep, opt out of marketing at any time, and withdraw consent where processing is based on it.

Note: data we must keep under AML and licence rules cannot be deleted on request during the required retention period.
Security
Encryption in transit, access controls and logging, hashed password storage and staff confidentiality obligations. Two-factor authentication is available and we strongly recommend enabling it. If a breach creates a significant risk to you, we will inform you and the competent authority as required.
