We are required to stop our service being used for money laundering, terrorist financing or other financial crime. That obligation comes from our gaming licence and from the anti-money-laundering rules that apply to us, and it is set out in full in our AML Policy, which forms part of the Terms.
Here is what it means for you in practice.
Accounts are never anonymous
One account per person, registered with true and complete information. Verification can be asked for at any point — at registration, at a deposit, before a withdrawal, when you change payment details, or if something about the activity on the account prompts a closer look. Deposits, play or withdrawals can be paused until it is done.
What we verify, as applicable: your identity and age, your address, and your ownership of the payment method — that the card, account or wallet is in your own name or under your own control.
See Why we verify accounts and What documents we accept.
Some situations get a closer look
Additional checks apply where the risk is higher — for example where a transaction connects to a jurisdiction identified internationally as having AML weaknesses, where a player is a politically exposed person or appears on a sanctions list, where the pattern of transactions doesn't fit genuine gameplay, or where a document looks altered.
In those cases we may ask for further identity evidence, for documentary proof of source of funds and sometimes source of wealth, and a withdrawal may need senior review before it is processed. See Source of funds requests.
What is not allowed
- Depositing from, or withdrawing to, a payment method that isn't in your own name
- Using the account to transfer, exchange or store funds without genuinely playing
- Hiding your identity or location
- Any transaction connected to the proceeds of crime
Cash is not accepted in any form. This is also why every deposit carries a 1x wagering requirement before those funds can be withdrawn — see The 1x deposit wagering requirement.
Sanctions and restricted countries
We do not deal with people or entities on applicable sanctions lists, and we screen accounts and transactions for them. We also do not accept players resident in or located in a restricted jurisdiction — see Where you can play. If verification shows residence in one, the account is closed and the verified deposit balance is returned under the Terms.
If something is reported
Where we know or suspect funds are connected to unlawful activity, we report it to the competent authorities and cooperate with lawful investigations. Where the law prohibits us from telling you, we will not — so there are situations in which our support team genuinely cannot explain more, and that is not them being unhelpful.
Your data
Verification and transaction records are kept for as long as AML rules, regulatory requirements and our licence demand. They are shared with our payment providers so that their controls can run alongside ours. See Your privacy.
