What counts as abuse
- fraud, use of stolen payment instruments, chargebacks made without contacting support first, or money laundering
- multiple, shared or transferred accounts
- bonus abuse — exploiting promotions through multiple accounts, colluding with other players, opposite or minimal-risk betting, or systematically abusing promotion mechanics against their intent
- exploiting a malfunction, software error or mispriced odds
- automated play (bots), AI-assisted play in prohibited contexts, or any device or software giving an unfair advantage
- concealing your identity or location
- any other material breach of the Terms
What happens if abuse is suspected
We may temporarily freeze the account or the affected funds while we investigate. We aim to complete investigations promptly; temporary freezes are subject to internal time limits and escalation, and you will be notified of the outcome.
Account reviews are conducted by our security team in accordance with our policies, and the outcome is communicated by email.
If abuse is established
Proportionately to the conduct, we may:
- cancel the relevant rewards and any winnings derived from them
- void affected wagers
- exclude the account from current and future promotions
- suspend or permanently close the account
- in cases of fraud, criminal conduct or AML concerns, withhold funds to the extent required or permitted by law and our licence, and report the matter to the competent authorities
Verified deposit balances not connected to the abuse are returned to the player after deduction of amounts forfeited — except in cases of fraud, criminal conduct or AML concerns.
Appealing
You will be informed of a forfeiture decision and its grounds. If you wish to appeal, write to support@buunix.com within 14 days of the notice and the case will be re-examined, through the complaints procedure in Section 19 of the Terms.
Records of the investigation and decision are retained in accordance with our licence obligations.
