Quick answers about when and why we ask for documents, and how to send them.
Why do I need to verify my account?
Verification is a process that protects both you and the platform:
- Protecting your account and funds — It ensures that withdrawals and account changes are made only by the account's rightful owner, and protects your account from unauthorized use or identity theft.
- Preventing underage play — Our services are available only to players aged 18 and over, and age verification is a fundamental part of responsible gaming.
- Legal compliance — As a licensed operator, we maintain verification procedures in accordance with applicable laws, including anti-money laundering regulations.
Verification is requested when needed based on risk-based review. When requested, your cooperation helps ensure smooth account use and withdrawals. All information and documents submitted are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
If I only deposit and never withdraw, do I still need to verify?
Verification is not required by default at registration or when depositing. However, verification may be requested at any time during your use of the account, based on risk-based review — regardless of whether you withdraw. If verification is requested, account functions, including deposits and gameplay, may be restricted until it is completed. Please refer to our KYC Policy for details.
How do I upload documents?
If verification is required, the submission method and the list of required documents are provided in the verification request. Please follow the instructions provided there. When submitting, please note:
- Take a photo of the original document directly, making sure the entire document is clearly visible. Screenshots and edited images are not accepted.
- Only submit documents through the official channel indicated in the request. BUUNIX will never ask for your documents via social media, messengers, or other channels. If you receive a suspicious request, do not submit anything and report it to customer support.
If you have any difficulty uploading, please contact customer support.
My document was rejected. Why?
The most common reasons documents are rejected are:
- The photo is blurry, or glare/shadows make part of the information unreadable
- The document is partially cut off — all four corners must be visible
- The document is no longer valid (expired ID) or not recent (outdated bills)
- The information on the document does not match the name, date of birth, or address registered on your account
- A different type of document was submitted than what was requested.
Please check the above and resubmit a clear photo showing the entire document. Photos must be taken directly of the original document — screenshots and edited images are not accepted. If the issue persists after resubmitting, please contact customer support. In some cases, additional documents may be requested or verification may not be approved, in accordance with our internal criteria.
The address on my bill does not match my account address.
The address registered on your account must match your actual current place of residence.
- If your account address is outdated (for example, after moving), please update it to your current address in My Profile, then submit a document showing that address.
- If your account address is correct but the document shows a previous address, please submit a recent document showing your current address.
The requirements for acceptable documents are provided in the verification request, and if you have any difficulties, please contact customer support.
